Sorry for breaking this to you but fact that you’re not able to move on is your cells don’t want it.
Your neocortex may want to move on, but your cells are in a quest to propagate the species and not lose a potential mate where a lot of effort was already invested.
You are made cells, doesn’t mean you know what cells want.
