People grow apart when they compound fast.
Often both parties don’t compound in same manner and develop different tastes and different choices.
Often people try to salvage a relationship due to years of effort invested in it but they are different people from where they started as.
Simpler people who don’t compound as much remain similar and thus don’t compound as much remain similar and thus don’t grow apart.
