I guess games that involve violence and hunting serve the primal behavior we had when we were hunter-gatherer tribes.
In today’s time we don’t have to actively defend tribe or hunt or fight on daily basis but the need to so that still in deeply coded with us.
Also games like PUBG makes us feel we are cool and powerful in virtual world when we are uncool and powerless in real world.
